By plane

From Naples Capodichino Airport take the ‘Alibus‘ shuttle bus of ANM transport company to  Molo Beverello and embark on the ferry to Ischia. The Alibus connects the plaza across the Airport directly to the  Porta di Massa terminal, which is the departure point of the ferries directed to Ischia. Hydrofoils leave instead from the nearby Beverello terminal. The shuttle bus ticket is 3€/person and can be bought on board. The Alibus stops in Naples Central Station, about 40 minutes from the harbour, and Piazza Municipio, which is the stop nearest the Maritime Station. Alternatively, the pre-determined price of the taxi journey to Molo Beverello is 16 €, 19 € if you stop in Mergellina.

By boat

Reach Ischia from Naples by taking a boat or hydrofoil from one of the city’s three ports: Molo Beverello, Calata Porta di Massa (only ferries) or Stazione di Mergellina (only hydrofoils). Alternatively you can embark from the ports of the nearby towns of Pozzuoli, Salerno, Amalfi, Sorrento, Formia (the latter operating ferries and hydrofoils only in the summer). Once at the chosen port, locate the boarding area to Ischia’s harbour: in the summer Caremar, Snav, and Alilauro companies operate the transfers. The journey by hydrofoil is about 50 minutes, while the ferry takes one hour and a half or 70 minutes, depending if it stops in Procida. The ferry ticket costs about 12€/person (car excluded), while the hydrofoil ticket is 20€.

By train

If you’re arriving to Ischia Blu Resort by train you can either get off at Naples Central Station in Piazza Garibaldi and reach Molo Beverello by bus, tram, metro, or taxi, or ride on to Napoli Mergellina Train Station, which is within walking distance of the Maritime Station. Alternatively, reach Mergellina (where only hydrofoils leave to Ischia) by Line 2 of the Metro leaving from the station in Piazza Garibaldi. If you are carrying heavy luggage you can take a taxi and ask to pay the pre-determined fare of about 10€ to Molo Beverello.
